At Smart Select, we are committed to providing you with high-quality products and excellent after-sales service. Our warranty policy ensures peace of mind when shopping for smartphones, electronics, and appliances through our platform.
📱 Warranty on Pre-Owned Devices
All our pre-owned devices (including iPhones and other smartphones) are carefully tested and certified before sale.
- Standard Warranty: 3-month limited warranty from date of delivery.
- Covers: Device functionality including touchscreen, buttons, speakers, charging port, and battery performance (minimum 80% health at time of sale).
- Does Not Cover:
- Accidental damage (e.g. cracked screens, water damage)
- Normal wear and tear (e.g. scratches, dents)
- Damage caused by third-party repairs or software tampering
- Warranty Claim Process:
- Contact us via email at info@smartselect.co.za with your order number and issue details.
- Devices must be returned for inspection before any warranty claim is processed.
- We will repair, replace, or refund at our discretion.
🔧 Warranty on New Products
For brand-new items, the manufacturer’s warranty applies – where it does not we hold a 6 month Smart Select Warranty. Most new electronics and appliances come with a 6 to 12-month warranty, depending on the brand and product type.
- Manufacturer Warranty: Warranty details are typically included in the product packaging or available upon request.
- SmartSelect Support: We assist with manufacturer warranty claims wherever possible.
⚠️ Important Notes
- Warranty is valid only if the product is used under normal conditions and according to instructions.
- Any unauthorized repair or modification will void the warranty.
- Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
